A short run down to the water's edge, with the lake and the hills around it opening up as you drop in. It's a tidy little track, worth the detour if you're passing.

The going is a bit scratchy in places and pretty tight, so keep an eye out for anyone coming the other way. Not much room to pass.

You can possibly pitch up for the night at the end, though that's at your own risk. Good spot to pull over and take in Lake Ohau.
